STARTERS

Large cold-water prawns tossed in a lemon and chive mayonnaise with baby gem and mixed salad leaves. GF

Avocado Barbara – avocado skinned and stuffed with prawns, covered with cream cheese, breadcrumbed and deep-fried…

Served with horseradish mayonnaise.

King prawns sautéed in garlic butter, sweet chilli and coriander.
Sticky jasmine rice. £5 extra. GF

Salmon, smoked haddock and spinach baked in a Thermidor sauce.

Smooth chicken liver parfait with red onion chutney and toasted malted brown loaf.

Potato gnocchi gratin – potato dumplings tossed in a rich Bolognese sauce and topped with melting mozzarella and parmesan cheese.

Mixed mushrooms with onion, garlic, parsley and white wine cream sauce, on garlic-rubbed crostini. Salad, balsamic dressing. V

Grilled halloumi salad with beef tomatoes and red onion.

Middle Eastern cauliflower – turmeric scented cauliflower florets deep-fried and drizzled with yoghurt, harissa and chimichurri sauce- sprinkled with toasted flaked almonds.

MAIN COURSE

8oz Scottish sirloin or 8oz Scottish fillet steak cooked to your liking peppercorn and mustard sauce or a stilton and port sauce, chips, pan-fried onions & mushrooms and long stem broccoli.

Sirloin @ £6 extra : Fillet @ £14 extra. GF

Tagliata de Manzo – trimmed sirloin steak cooked to your liking, sliced on a bed of wild rocket, sun blushed tomatoes, red onion and topped with parmesan shavings. A portion of chips on the side. £6 extra. GF

Shank of English lamb, slow-roasted, with a mint, garlic and rosemary gravy. Long stem broccoli, carrot and swede, creamed petit pois & roasted garlic mini potatoes. GF

Roast duck with orange sauce, mini fried cubed potatoes, long stem broccoli, carrot & swede and creamed petit pois. GF

Chicken and mushroom stroganoff. Chicken strips cooked with, mushrooms,  onions, garlic, sherry, paprika, mustard and cream, long stem broccoli and rice. GF

Slow-braised beef cheek in a rich red wine jus, wholegrain mustard mash, long stem broccoli, Carrot & swede and creamed petit pois.

Cracked black pepper encrusted Tuna supreme, pan-fried, accompanied with a lemon pepper sauce, French beans and sliced new potatoes cooked with pancetta. GF

Grilled salmon fillet, hot tartar sauce, mushy peas and chips. GF

Gnocchi dumplings tossed in a rich vegan-friendly Bolognese sauce and a mixed salad. VG

Cannelloni pasta tubes stuffed with spinach and cream cheese and baked in a tomato and béchamel sauce served with a mixed salad. V

Tofu red Malaysian coconut curry with mixed vegetables and sticky coconut rice. VG
