Lino’s Restaurant has been established since 1983 and enjoys a regular and discerning clientele. Whilst travelling the globe working on cruise liners, Lino won a prize to study at catering college in Bordighera, a town 250km from his home village of San Terenzo and just a few minutes away from the French border.
Lino and two others finished their studies in joint first place and were sent to England in 1960 to learn English.
Enrico’s son, Emilio, can be found helping his dad on a Saturday night in the kitchen, when cousin Caroline enjoys a night off. Daughter Talia prefers giving a hand, front of house, to Ian and Jean, who have both been with Lino’s for over 20 years.
